TUDOR MONASTERY FARM

6 X 60 BBC TWO

Historian Ruth Goodman and archaeologists Peter Ginn and Tom Pinfold turn the clock back 500 years to the early Tudor period to become tenant farmers on monastery land.  In episodes covering the wool trade and Tudor hospitality we sheared sheep and turned their wool into cloth, refurbished a house, made some beautiful rush matting and held a banquet fit for a king.
